Landing in Florida Delayed by Several Hours
The varsity team arrived at Kennedy Airport at 8:00am ready to board thier flight. Bags were packed and checked in and all that was left was to sit back and wait for the pilot to take-off. Bad storms over the Carolina's delayed all departing flights going south. Not only was the team delayed, but some of the parents taking other flights from Newark Liberty Airport were delayed as well.
The team was able to depart just before noon, and arrived in Orlando at 3:45pm The bags were collected and the next stop was check-in at the hotel. But, as the day continued to drag on, the team was delayed at the airport for over an hour waiting for the hotel shuttle to arrive.

Wide World of Sports
Delay after delay forced the unfortunate cancellation of tonights practice at the Wide World of Sports Complex. Coach Capozzi registered the team, and the schedule events for Tuesday will continue as planned.
Kudo's to the Meyer family, who, due to weather, were forced by the airlines to take the long way to Orlando, travelling from Newark to Dallas and then to Orlando.
