Ron Etzkorn

Junior Varisty Coach

This is Coach Capozzi’s 5th year as Head Coach at Lakeland Regional H.S. He has been involved in Lakeland baseball for over 20 years. His team won the Passaic County and Northern Hills Conference Championship in Coach Capozzi’s first year as Head Coach. He spent 15 years as the Freshman Coach before taking over the program as Head Coach in 2006.

Coach Etzkorn was a Varsity baseball coach in Maryland for 5 seasons. This is his 13th season coaching baseball and will be his third season at Lakeland. Coach Etzhorn was the freshman coach for the 2008 season and has been the JV coach for the last two sesaons.

Joe Trentacosta

Freshman Coach

Coach Trent will be the Freshmen Baseball coach at Lakeland this season. Coach Trent played on championship baseball and football teams at Lakeland and graduated in 1991. For the past nine seasons, Coach Trent was the Varsity baseball coach at West Milford High School. At West Milford, he compiled a record of 142 wins, 87 losses and led the team to the Passaic County Semi-Finals six times in nine seasons and the finals twice. Coming back to his roots is surely a thrill for him and he is excited to teach the basics again and lead the freshmen team to an exciting spring season.
