Welcome to the Lakeland Lancers Diamond Club website. Our site has been newly revised for the upcoming 2011 Season. The Lakeland Lancers Diamond Club was formed in 2005, to support the Lakeland Regional High School Lancer's Baseball Team. Each year the Diamond Club is active in fund-raising activities to enhance the baseball experiece for all three levels of baseball at Lakeland Regional High School. This site is published and maintained by the Lakeland Lancers Diamond Club. This site is independant of the Lakeland Regional High School web network.
The Lakeland Lancers Diamond Club is a parent based, non-profit fundraising organization which supports the activities of the Lakeland Regional High School baseball program.

The Lakeland Lancers Baseball Team participated in the Ringwood St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 26, 2011. On hand were Coaches Capozzi and Trentacosta, and many of the players from the 2010 Sectional Championship Team. Also joining in the parade were many of this years team players.

The Lakeland Lancers rallied from a 6-3 deficit to triumph 13-7. Senior Lou Saraceni started the Lancers off with a 2 RBI double in the 1st inning. Several Lancer batters reached base multiple times during the game. Winning pitcher Donald Cook pitched 4 strong innings in relief to allow the Lancers to rally. Josh Kwak and Senior Jared Robbins combined to seal the win with scoreless 6th and 7th innings respectively.

One of the reasons that the Lancers travel to Disney Wide World of Sports in the spring is to play strong competition from around the country. This game allowed them to do just that. The Lakeland Lancers ran into an extremely strong and highly skilled baseball team from Georgia. The Allatoona Buccaneers are currently ranked in the Top 10 of all Georgia HS Baseball Teams. Senior Sean Reilley pitched very well in the loss. The sole Lancer offense was provided by center fielder Eric Fernandez.

Once again , the Lancers travelled to Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida. This years, the Lancers faced three strong teams from high schools in Illinois, and Georgia.

The Lakeland Lancers battled throughout in a very close game. Big RBI hits were delivered by 3rd baseman Brian LaCouture and catcher Jesse Bruno. Sophomore Josh Kwak pitched 5 strong innings in the loss striking out 7 Raiders. Senior Lou Saraceni pitched out of a bases loaded, no out jam in the top of 7th without allowing a run.
